WORKWELL SPACES – Terms of Service
Effective Date: July 2, 2026
Welcome to WORKWELL SPACES. These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of our coworking facilities, meeting rooms, event spaces, memberships, and related services. By booking, purchasing a membership, or using our facilities, you agree to these Terms.
1. Memberships and Bookings
Members and guests must provide accurate and current information when creating an account or making a booking.
Memberships, day passes, meeting room reservations, and event bookings are subject to availability. WORKWELL SPACES reserves the right to refuse or cancel bookings when necessary.
2. Payment
All fees must be paid in full before access to the space unless otherwise agreed in writing.
Membership fees are billed according to the selected membership plan. Failure to make payment may result in suspension or termination of access.
Prices are subject to change. Members will be notified of any pricing changes before they take effect.
3. Cancellation Policy
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation policy is as follows:
Cancellations made more than seven (7) days before the scheduled booking will receive a credit to the member’s WORKWELL SPACES account for the full amount paid. Account credits may be applied toward future bookings and are not redeemable for cash.
Cancellations made less than seven (7) days before the scheduled booking are non-refundable. No refund or account credit will be issued.
WORKWELL SPACES may, at its sole discretion, make exceptions in extraordinary circumstances.
4. Member Conduct
To maintain a professional and welcoming environment, all members and guests agree to:
Treat other members, staff, and visitors with courtesy and respect.
Keep noise at a reasonable level.
Clean up after themselves.
Use shared facilities responsibly.
Follow all posted policies and staff instructions.
Respect shared equipment and property.
The following are prohibited:
Illegal activities.
Harassment, discrimination, or abusive behaviour.
Excessive noise or disruptive conduct.
Damage to property.
Unauthorized access to restricted areas.
Smoking or vaping inside the facility unless specifically permitted.
Possession or use of illegal drugs.
5. Guests
Members are responsible for the conduct of any guests they bring into the space.
Guests may be required to register upon arrival and comply with these Terms.
6. Access and Security
Members are responsible for safeguarding access credentials, keys, or entry codes.
Do not share access credentials without authorization.
WORKWELL SPACES reserves the right to suspend access for security, maintenance, unpaid accounts, or violations of these Terms.
7. Internet and Technology
Internet access is provided as a convenience. While we strive for reliable service, we do not guarantee uninterrupted availability or specific speeds.
Members are responsible for securing their own devices and data.
Illegal downloading, hacking, or any misuse of the network is strictly prohibited.
8. Personal Property
Members are responsible for their own personal belongings.
WORKWELL SPACES is not responsible for lost, stolen, or damaged personal property.
Items left behind may be disposed of after a reasonable period.
9. Lockers and Storage
Where storage is provided, members use it at their own risk.
Storage may not be used for hazardous, illegal, or perishable items.
10. Meeting Rooms and Event Spaces
Meeting rooms must be vacated promptly at the end of the reserved booking time.
Members are responsible for any damage caused during their reservation.
Additional charges may apply for overtime use, excessive cleaning, or repairs.
11. Damage to Property
Members are responsible for any damage caused by themselves or their guests beyond normal wear and tear.
WORKWELL SPACES reserves the right to recover repair or replacement costs.
12. Health and Safety
Members agree to follow all health, safety, fire, and emergency procedures.
Unsafe behaviour may result in immediate removal from the premises.
13. Photography and Recording
Photography or recording that captures other members requires their consent unless taking place during a public event where notice has been provided.
WORKWELL SPACES may occasionally photograph or record events for promotional purposes. Members who do not wish to appear should notify staff in advance.
14. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, WORKWELL SPACES shall not be liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising from the use of its facilities or services.
Members use the facilities at their own risk.
15. Indemnification
Members agree to indemnify and hold harmless WORKWELL SPACES, its owners, employees, contractors, and affiliates from claims, damages, liabilities, and expenses arising from the member’s use of the facilities or breach of these Terms.
16. Termination
WORKWELL SPACES reserves the right to suspend or terminate memberships or bookings for:
Violation of these Terms.
Non-payment.
Illegal or unsafe conduct.
Behaviour that disrupts other members or staff.
Termination does not entitle the member to a refund except where required by law.
17. Privacy
Personal information is collected and used to manage memberships, bookings, and facility operations. Information will be handled in accordance with applicable privacy laws and our Privacy Policy.
18. Changes to These Terms
WORKWELL SPACES may update these Terms from time to time. Continued use of the facilities after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
19. Governing Law
These Terms shall be governed by and interpreted in accordance with the laws of the province or territory in which WORKWELL SPACES operates and the applicable laws of Canada.
